The program consist of eleven, four-hour sessions spread over the course of several months, with optional one-day trip to the Indiana Statehouse. Many of the sessions have been combined into two sessions during a full day for approximately 8:00am – 4:00pm, with some projects and team building time incorporated during these times as well. You are expected to attend 10 of the 11 sessions in order to receive a Certificate of Completion from Purdue Extension. You’ll learn from personal experience and self-assessments, small group actives and discussions, current community leaders, online leadership webinars, and real-life applications. The Program will participate in a Community Project. The project will be completed by the participants and benefit the county. Time is set aside on selected days for participants to complete the selected project.
